Job 12:7-9

"Chapter 10—A Knowledge of God Many are the ways in which God is seeking to make Himself known to us and bring us into communion with Him. Nature speaks to our senses without ceasing. The open heart will be impressed with the love and glory of God as revealed through the works of His hands. The listening ear can hear and understand the communications of God through the things of nature. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the falling rain, the babbling brook, the glories of the heavens, speak to our hearts, and invite us to become acquainted with Him who made them all. Both passages suggest that we can learn about God through observing nature. Job 12:7-9 encourages learning from animals and the earth, while EGW describes how various natural elements speak to our hearts and invite us to know God. The underlying principle of learning about God through nature is shared.

Both passages suggest that observing nature (animals, earth) can teach about God and His works.
Job 12:8
"Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee."
"Chapter 11—Lessons of Life “Speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee.” The Great Teacher brought His hearers in contact with nature, that they might listen to the voice which speaks in all created things; and as their hearts became tender and their minds receptive, He helped them to interpret the spiritual teaching of the scenes upon which their eyes rested. The parables, by means of which He loved to teach lessons of truth, show how open His spirit was to the influences of nature and how He delighted to gather the spiritual teaching from the surroundings of daily life. The EGW passage directly quotes Job 12:8, making it an explicit allusion. The passage then expands on the idea of learning from nature, connecting it to Jesus' teachings and parables.
