Psalms 47:2
"For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth."

Both passages emphasize God's supreme authority and kingship. The EGW passage directly affirms God's sovereignty, while the Psalm acknowledges God as a great King over all the earth. This is more than a vague thematic overlap.
Psalms 47:7
"For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding."
"I saw that all should sing with the spirit and with the understanding also. God is not pleased with jargon and discord. Right is always more pleasing to Him than wrong. And the nearer the people of God can approach to correct, harmonious singing, the more is He glorified, the church benefited, and unbelievers favorably affected. 1T 146.1"
Both passages connect singing praises with understanding. While not a direct quote, the theme is clearly present in both.
Psalms 47:8
"God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness."
"As we returned to our homes by various ways, a voice praising God would reach us from one direction, and, as if in response, voices from another and still another quarter shouted: “Glory to God, the Lord reigneth!” Men sought their homes with praises upon their lips, and the glad sound rang out upon the still night air. No one who attended these meetings can ever forget those scenes of deepest interest. 1T 50.4"
The EGW passage describes people praising God and declaring "The Lord reigneth!" which directly echoes the sentiment of Psalm 47:8.
"“Every honest soul that may be deceived by these disaffected ones, will have the true light in regard to them, if every angel from heaven has to visit them, to enlighten their minds. We have nothing to fear in this matter. As we near the judgment, all will manifest their true character, and it will be made plain to what company they belong. The sieve is moving. Let us not say: Stay Thy hand, O God. The church must be purged, and it will be. God reigns; let the people praise Him. I have not the most distant thought of sinking down. I mean to be right and do right. The judgment is to set, the books are to be opened, and we are to be judged according to our deeds. All the falsehoods that may be framed against me will not make me any worse, nor any better unless they have a tendency to drive me nearer my Redeemer.” 1T 100.1"
EGW's statement "God reigns; let the people praise Him" directly echoes the sentiment of Psalm 47:8, which proclaims God's reign over all. Both passages affirm God's sovereignty and invite praise in response.
