Hope in a Troubled World

Signs of His Return

How Will He Come?

"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be" (Matthew 24:27). Every eye will see Him. He will come with power and great glory, accompanied by angels. This is not a time for fear for those who have placed their trust in Him, but a time of rejoicing and triumph.
What Happens When He Comes?
The return of Jesus will bring about a resurrection of the righteous dead. "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep" (1 Thessalonians 4:15). Those who have died believing in Jesus will be raised to life, and together with those who are alive and remain, will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This is the blessed hope of every believer.
A Call to Watchfulness
The Bible urges us to be watchful and ready for Jesus' return. We are to live lives of holiness and devotion, keeping our hearts fixed on Him. This means turning away from sin, seeking God's will in our lives, and sharing the good news of salvation with others. It's not enough to simply know about His coming; we must be prepared in heart and life.
Are You Ready?
The question is not whether Jesus is coming back, but whether you are ready to meet Him. Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior? Have you repented of your sins and asked for His forgiveness?
