"And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."
Both passages refer to keeping the commandments of God. Revelation 12:17 describes the remnant who keep God's commandments and have the testimony of Jesus, while the EGW passage refers to those who profess to be keeping the commandments of God and waiting for the coming of the Son of man. The EGW passage places her work within the context of this end-times remnant.
