Elder Haskell stated in his letter that all preparations had been made for a large meeting at Groveland; and he had decided to hold the meeting, with the help of God, even if he had to carry it through alone. 4T 277.3"
"Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us."
Both passages describe being hindered by Satan from doing God's work. The parallel is quite strong and specific.
