"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
This is a clear application of the principle of sowing and reaping, directly linking generosity to God's work with receiving blessings. The connection is strong and intentional.

"Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean."
EGW's phrase "at ease in Zion" is a direct reference to Isaiah's call to Zion to awaken and put on strength. The context of urging action and service further strengthens the connection.
