"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."
Both passages discuss a future state of increased understanding and knowledge, particularly related to spiritual truths. The EGW passage speaks of understanding truths Christ longed to open, while 1 Corinthians 13:12 contrasts our current limited understanding with a future 'face to face' knowledge.
