EGW's description of the restraining Spirit of God being withdrawn, followed by disasters, and the mention of sentinel angels restraining the four winds until the servants of God are sealed, is a clear thematic parallel to Revelation 7:1-3. The imagery and sequence of events are very similar.
"***** To those who are indifferent at this time Christ's warning is: “Because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth.” Revelation 3:16 . The figure of spewing out of His mouth means that He cannot offer up your prayers or your expressions of love to God. He cannot endorse your teaching of His word or your spiritual work in anywise. He cannot present your religious exercises with the request that grace be given you. 6T 408.2"

Ellen White directly references Revelation 3:16 in this passage.

"Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"
The phrase 'weep between the porch and the altar' is a direct allusion to Joel 2:17, and the context of repentance and pleading for mercy is also shared.
