"would take hold of Christ, while with the other they would grasp sinners and draw them to the Saviour. 8T 29.1"
"And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."
Both passages describe the act of saving sinners, though the imagery is different. Jude uses the image of pulling people from fire, while EGW uses the image of drawing sinners to the Savior.
"***** “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14 . 8T 29.2"
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
Ellen White directly references Matthew 24:14 in this passage.
"***** “If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; if thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not He render to every man according to his works?” Proverbs 24:11, 12 . 8T 29.3"
"If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;"
The EGW passage directly quotes Proverbs 24:11, 12.
