"Properly conducted, the camp-meeting is a school where pastors, elders, and deacons can learn to do more perfect work for the Master. It should be a school where the members of the church, old and young, are given an opportunity to learn the way of the Lord more perfectly, a place where believers can receive an education that will help them to help others.... "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
Both passages discuss the importance of training and equipping church members for service. Ephesians 4:11-13 describes the roles within the church designed to perfect the saints, while EGW describes the camp meeting as a school for similar purposes.

Both passages refer to God communicating through dreams or visions. Numbers 12:6 is a general statement about how God speaks to prophets, while EGW describes a specific instance of receiving a message in a dream.
