The Lord, speaking through Paul, Ephesians 6:10-18 , tells us how to fortify ourselves against Satan and his emissaries: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. EGW directly quotes Isaiah 53:5.
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Both passages discuss transformation, although Romans 12:2 focuses on being transformed by the renewing of the mind, while EGW speaks of an 'entire transformation' in the context of religious devotion. The connection is more than superficial.
