"Later, Silas and Timothy joined Paul at Corinth. These brethren brought with them funds from the churches in Macedonia, for the support of the work. AA 350.1"
"And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ."
The EGW passage directly references the arrival of Silas and Timothy in Corinth, which is also the subject of Acts 18:5. The EGW passage adds the detail about them bringing funds, but the core event is the same.
