"They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons."
EGW uses the imagery of the vineyard to describe God's church and its purpose. This directly echoes the parable of the vineyard in Matthew 21:41, where the vineyard is given to other husbandmen who will render the fruits in their seasons. EGW connects this to the church's role in fulfilling God's plan.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
While not a direct quote, EGW's passage echoes the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 by discussing the church's freedom to carry out the divine plan of salvation. The contrast between this freedom and the restrictions of the past highlights the importance of fulfilling the commission to teach all nations.
"But, thank God, His church is no longer in bondage. To spiritual Israel have been restored the privileges accorded the people of God at the time of their deliverance from Babylon. In every part of the earth, men and women are responding to the Heaven-sent message which John the revelator prophesied would be proclaimed prior to the second coming of Christ: “Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come.” Revelation 14:7 . Ellen White directly references Revelation 14:7 in this passage.

Both passages discuss freedom from bondage. EGW refers to the church no longer being in bondage, similar to the freedom mentioned in John 8:36.
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;"
Both passages discuss freedom and deliverance. Isaiah 61:1 speaks of proclaiming liberty to the captives, while EGW speaks of the church no longer being in bondage.
