The EGW passage directly amplifies the principle of God's love being demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus, as stated in John 3:16.

Both passages discuss the immeasurable love of Christ/God. Ephesians 3:19 speaks of the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, and the EGW passage speaks of Christ's sacrifice as the ultimate expression of the Father's love.
