can you send me the qoutation where it say that God will not give us another light unless we practice the one that we have

The principle of spiritual growth is based on the active application of the truth already understood. It is emphasized that we often fail to receive increased light because we are not making the most of the light already bestowed upon us (1SM 401.2). When we do not walk in the light that has been shed upon our path, we hinder our ability to receive the further revelations God has in store (1SM 401.2). Advancement in spiritual knowledge is conditional upon practicing what has been learned (BEcho January 15, 1893, par. 10).

It is only when we obey the truth that is currently open to our understanding that we are prepared to receive greater light (HS 197.1). If we refuse to improve the light we have, that very light can become darkness to us (T21 94.1). God requires us to be faithful to the grace and truth He has already bestowed before He grants more (PH159 90.1).

To be accepted and blessed as the faithful of the past were, we must improve our current light just as they improved theirs (1T 262.1). If we stop advancing and fail to receive the unfolding truth, we risk becoming enshrouded in darkness (11MR 290.1).
