"And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
Both passages speak of coming wars and strife among nations. Matthew 24:6 is a prophecy of wars, and EGW warns of terrible scenes of strife and oppression among the nations.
"And in the farewell service marking the close of the Conference, she once more appealed to the delegates assembled from all parts of the world, to endure as beholding the Invisible. She exhorted every worker to go forth in the strength of the Mighty One of Israel. "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."
EGW's phrase 'endure as beholding the Invisible' is a direct allusion to Hebrews 11:27, which speaks of Moses enduring as seeing Him who is invisible.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."
Both passages encourage believers to be strong in the Lord. Ephesians 6:10 is a direct command to be strong in the Lord, while EGW exhorts workers to go forth in the strength of the Mighty One of Israel.
