There is no statement in Ellen White's published books indicating that humans were made to replace fallen angels. The available sources clarify several related points:
- Angels existed before humans were created (see
GC 511.2;
PP 64.3).
- Humans were created "a little lower than the angels" (Psalm 8:5, referenced in
GC 511.2).
- After the fall of man, angels ministered to humanity and played a role in the plan of salvation, but there is no suggestion that humans were created as substitutes for the angels who fell with Satan.
- The plan of salvation and the redemption of humanity are distinct from the fate of fallen angels. Angels cannot redeem humanity; only Christ could do that (see
PP 64.3).
- Nowhere in the annotation texts is it stated or implied that the purpose of humanity's creation was to fill the places of the fallen angels.
In summary, Ellen White's writings do not support the idea that humans were made to replace fallen angels.
